Colors and picture books opened the doorway to art for me. Art became my doorway to the world. The world has stimulated my curiosity, drawing me back to art. Whether painting, drawing, or writing, I aim to promote childlike hope or peaceful rest. I’d love to capture moments that remind us of the beauty of simplicity, such as a moment to catch one’s breath and find what is truly important, a moment to tap into one’s inner childlike curiosity, or a moment to enjoy the present.

I love the tangible nature of traditional media. Whether it is getting my hands covered in charcoal or feeling the brush spread paint onto paper, it’s my fuel. Just being part of the process, from start to finish, excites me! Mixing the right color in the right place is so satisfying! I believe that every day is a gift.
